Born some 70 years ago, Rachier's birth was not a normal one, not like most of us who were either born at home or in the hospital.

Rachier was instead born inside a moving train as his mother headed to Molo in Nakuru County.

It emerges that he was given birth to under a wooden bench in a Third Class carriage, and since then, he has never stopped moving.

The Rhumba lover is also a controversial person, and is currently at the middle of another controversy, thanks to his last minute declaration that he is not leaving his position.

He had earlier announced that he will be vacating the top after 11 years at the helm but now says that he still needs more time.

“Many people including sponsors have told me not to leave Gor Mahia. The sponsors say they may not want to continue if I am not there. I may hold on longer," he told the Standard's Game Yetu.

Though there are calls from the oldies, himself included, to vacate the position for the youth, he says that no one can beat him in an election.

"People have called me Mugabe and claim I am forcing myself on this seat. I can assure you that if someone contested against me, they would not win,” he noted.
