A section of Jubilee loyalists wants President Uhuru Kenyatta to take full control of Jubilee Party and run it together with Deputy President William Ruto.
Bomet Central MP Ronald Tonui says key decisions going forward should be made by Uhuru and Ruto other than leaving it to affiliate politicians which has continued to cause friction between him and allies of the DP.
"It is sad that MPs continue to opine different views and pull in different directions when it comes to party matters, due to President inability to convene a meeting for us to air our issue and come to an agreement," Tonui remarked in an exclusive interview with Nation.
He added that the gap between Uhuru and Ruto has continued to cause chaos fuelled by rival factions Kieleweke supporting Uhuru and Tanga Tanga supporting DP Ruto and his 2022 presidential bid.
Tonui also expressed his apprehension in Uhuru's failure to covene a Parliamentary Group meeting for Jubilee MPs as a way to iron out teething issues in the party
