President Uhuru Kenyatta has been lauded after he fulfilled a promise he made to Nyachogochoge secondary school in 2017.
Nyachogochogo secondary school principal Richard Oketch and area MCA Charles Keganda said the Head of State is doing a commendable job.
"I wish to congratulate President Uhuru Kenyatta following the fulfilment of his promise he made to the school. The new 52-seater school bus will help learners go to educational tours without any difficulties thus boosting the school's performance," the jovial principal said on Thursday.
Oketch assured that he will ensure learners attend educational tours to far areas now that the school has acquired the bus.
He challenged learners to work hard and appealed to parents to be supportive of their children while they are in school for the sake of realizing better results.
On his part the MCA, Mr Keganda challenged elected leaders to work around the clock and fulfil their campaign promises.
"Uhuru is leading by example delivering as by the promises he made in 2017 campaigns. Let every political leader follow the same. Electorates deserve better services. On behalf of the electorates in Nyachogochogo, I thank the Head of State for making true his promise," said Keganda.
