Rift Valley Law Society of Kenya chairman Frank Mwangi has praised Chief Justice David Maraga for his tireless effort to improve the state of Judiciary.

Mwangi said that move by the newly appointed Chief Justice to appoint Judges and Magistrates to stations is a step forward to ensure justice to Kenyans is not delayed.

"Being one of our own and seeing you climb up the ranks to improve the state of judiciary is a great pleasure to us and we congratulate you," said Mwangi.

Frank, an advocate in Nakuru said that sometimes justice is delayed due to backlog of cases and few number of judges and magistrates handling them.

"The judges, magistrates and Kadhi and doing their work tirelessly in cooperation with the law society to ensure justice is well served, we appreciate the additional judges and magistrate,” said Mwangi

Nakuru law court has seen two judges and one magistrate deployed at the station.

Speaking during the opening ceremony of the newly constructed children court in Nakuru, Mwangi challenged the Chief Justice to introduce the integrated device system to all the courts.

“Judicial officers takes too time n recording proceeding manualy and it would be better to have an intergrated device system, this will make access to justice very affordable,” said Mwangi

David Kemei who served as the chief magistrate in Nakuru was appointed as Judge and posted to another station.

The Chief Justice tour in the country had courts opened in Molo and Nyahururu as well the grant opening of the fully equipped Children court in Nakuru.
