The Iran Parliament has moved to pass a bill branding US military force and Pentagon as terror groups for instructing the killing of Gen. Soleimani.
Iran Parliament has unanimously passed a bill designating the US forces as "terrorists" following the killing of its top military commander, of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), foreign operations arm Quds force; Gen. Qasem Soleimani in an airstrike, Baghdad last Friday as reported by the Daily Mail.
The Tuesday, adopted bill labelled the entire US forces, Pentagon employees and its affiliated organisations, agents, and commanders and those who ordered "martyrdom" of Soleimani as "Terrorists".
"Any aid to these forces, including military, intelligence, financial, technical, service or logistical, will be considered as cooperation in a terrorist act," the bill said.
The murder has since escalated tension between the two arch-rival nations with no one willing to relent.
According to AlJazeera, the bill is an amendment to a previous motion that was passed in April 2019 that branded US Central Command as a "terrorist organisation" and declared the US a "state sponsor of terrorism".
This was as a result of US blacklisting IRGC as a "terrorist organisation".
In addition, after passing the bill, Iranian MPs chanted 'Death to America' designating all US forces 'terrorists' over the killing of Qassem Soleimani.
