"The server at knec.ac.ke is taking too long to respond."
This is the message that pops up after a user tries to log into the website on Thursday morning.
The site which is now being visited by many following the release of the 2015 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Examination examinations results, seems to be temporarily unavailable or too busy since it is unable to load any pages.
"Try again in a few moments," is what appears afterwards.
Instead, candidates have resorted to the short message service, SMS, by sending their index numbers to 22252 for updates on their latest results, which unfortunately has a message at the end of the message requesting candidates to visit the website for career guidance.
The results were announced by Education CS Fred Matiang'i at Mitihani House in Nairobi.
