A section of social media users from Nyamira County now want Labour Party of Kenya leader and Budalang'i MP Ababu Namwamba to stop ‘living in denial’ and wear the ‘right’ uniforms ahead of the 2017 polls.
Ababu's "'sisi kama Jubilee’" made the remarks on Sunday while addressing a group of youths in Jomvu constituency, Mombasa County, who had accused him of betraying the ODM by decamping to LPK.
And the social media users from Nyamira ODM Youth League WhatsApp group did not hesitate to condemn the Budalang'i MP by accusing him of previously holding the Orange party at ransom.
“Namwamba just confirmed what Otieno Kajwang used to say. He was a Jubilee mole within our party and was just pretending to be a saint. His so-called slip of the tongue confirms that he has been a Jubilee supporter all along,” said Ogamba James.
“A man speaks what he normally thinks of and that confirms that Namwamba is a Jubilee member and time has come for him to stop living in denial and wear the right uniforms because as the ODM, we have since moved on,” added Agnes Ocharo.
Ababu was reportedly heckled by youths during his tour to the coastal region who accused him of ditching the Orange party.
