In an interview on Citizen TV's DayBreak show, Koinange revealed that he was with the deceased on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at around 3.00 p.m.
He explained that while hanging out with Collymore, the latter was in a little bit of pain, adding that his spine was giving him some problems.
During their interaction, Collymore reportedly stood up and stretched a number times, due to the problem he was having with his spine.
Jeff noted that the deceased was prepared for his death, owing to the remarks he made on that day.
“I have never seen anyone more prepared for death. I was with him this Saturday (29th June 2019) and he kept saying “I have lived a good life…I have some regrets… it is not a perfect life, nobody is perferct, but I am ready now,” he said in part.
Jeff further noted that the deceased had prepared his close friends, and informed them of his health status.
A number of us had known this was coming.Bob had informed us.We knew he was not going to last very long. He had been told by his doctors not to make any long-term plans," Jeff said during the interview.
