Uasin Gishu Woman Representative Gladys Boss Shollei has announced that the Inua Mama, Jenga Taifa group will soon visit the county.

Addressing the media, Shollei said the meeting meant to empower women, youths, and people with disabilities will be held on November 9, 2019.

“I am delighted to announce that Inua Mama Jenga Taifa Uasin Gishu Edition will be held on Saturday 9th November 2019 at Teachers Advisory Center (TAC) Center grounds in Eldoret town from 8am to 1pm,” she said.

She noted that the meeting will be attended by both local and national political leaders, and urged residents to come out in large numbers to attend the function meant to change their lives.

“Fifty women parliamentarians have raised resources towards economic empowerment programs to ensure Uasin Gishu is not left behind. Welcome to the City of Champions,” Shollei added.

The group made up of over 50 women leaders have been traversing the country empowering women, youths, and people living with disabilities.
