Police in Juja have finally arrested the alleged serial rapist who has been harassing women in the area for three weeks after a tip-off from members of the public.

According to the Juja OCS Zachariah Ateya, the police were notified by members of public after they noticed the man alleged to have raped five women, assaulted others and stole from the residents of Juja two weeks before his arrest.

The suspect was found in a tent that is believed to have been his residence for the three weeks he has been harassing people in the area.

“He recently assaulted and raped a woman. Other residents have also identified him and we are gathering evidence before we arraign him in court,” he added.
