Njoro residents has tasked elected leaders to help in solving road issues in the area which they claim the situation has worsened .
Lead by activist John Njoroge during a demonstration today, they claim the area mp has neglected his task and want him to step aside if he cannot address the current issues affecting them.
They now want the elected leaders to sacrifice their time and listen to the plights of the public especially the conditions of the roads in Njoro Constituency.
“The condition of roads in Njoro from railway Station and MailiTatu areas are in a pathetic condition with a lot of portholes. This sitation have immensely affected business operations in the areas.” John Njoroge .
MailiTatu has been always an accident spot which has forced the public to put up the pumps in the area since their complains for the repair of the road has been futile.
Njoroge called on leaders to be close to the public since they elected them and gave them the opportunities to serve them.
“Leaders should not forget their responsibilities after they get elected into the various political positions .” he added.
Njoroge urged the residents of Njoro Constituency to vote wisely in the next general elections and elect leaders who can do substantial work and serve them instead of concentrating on politics.
The activist is eyeing the member of county assembly seat for Njoro ward in the next general elections.
