Opposition Chief Raila Odinga has vowed to continue unearthing alleged corruption in the Jubilee government which he termed as ‘scared of constructive criticism’.

Speaking on Wednesday when he met various elected ODM officials from Nyamira County in Borabu Constituency, Odinga said it was the mandate of the opposition to keep the day’s government on toes to deliver its mandate.

He slammed government officials who were allegedly accusing him of ‘destabilising’ the government and urged them to take corruption claims seriously because it was the order of the day in many government offices.

“You have heard them saying in a number of occasions that I am trying to sabotage their agenda for the country. It’s sad that the government is scared of reality because corruption has become the order of the day in many government offices,” he said.

He maintained his claims that a total of Sh14 billion  that was part of the money collected from Eurobond could not be accounted for and yet against challenged government to table some of the projects that were done using the borrowed money.

“This isn’t about tabling papers. It's about coming with a concrete evidence to disapprove us. Otherwise, I maintain that the Eurobond was swindled and it will turn out to be one of the most deadly scandal that the NYS saga,” he said.

Odinga urged members of opposition to do their job properly by pointing out where the government goes wrong and making it known to the public.
