Speaking at Kipkeiei Boys High school in Cherangany- Trans Nzoia county, Ruto termed the 2022 campaign as premature adding that the Jubilee administration will deal with that when the right time comes.

He cautioned those  coming up with the debate to cease from their attempt to split the Jubilee administration.

''I want to ask all those who are introducing unnecessary debates about 2022 to stop. The contest that is present in the arena is the 2017 race,” he said.

“I want to ask all leaders in Jubilee to focus their attention and energy on 2017, and how we are going to get Uhuru Kenyatta and Jubilee reelected so that we can ensure we complete our transformation program,” he added.

The deputy president ridiculed the opposition over the current confusion within the coalition where they haven't known who will be going to be their flag bearer.

“As Jubilee we have organized ourselves and we know who we are going to vote for. We know our political party and we have a firm manifesto and program to take this country forward,” he said.
