Kenya Film Classification Board Chief Executive Officer Ezekiel Mutua has threatened to arrest Classic 105 radio presenter Maina Kageni.
Mr Mutua accuses Mr Kageni of airing what he terms inappropriate content during his Classic I05's breakfast show which he co-hosts with popular comedian Mwalimu King'ang'i.
Mutua says the programme is explicit and should therefore be aired late night.
The development comes barely a week after he said he will ban advertisements on betting and gambling on television.
This, he said would help avoid ''the production of a lazy generation'' that only believes in getting rich without working.
Mr Mutua noted that should Maina Kageni fail to adhere to the KFCB directive, he will storm the radio station with the police and arrest him.
"I have announced that wedding show programs, marriage counselors like Bi Msafari (Citizen TV) and those who host such programmes, Maina and King'ang'i , will be required to take their adult sexual topic out of the watershed period," said Mr Mutua.
"Anybody thinking that we are kidding will be in for a rude awakening. I will walk to the studio with the police and have the said Bi Msafari, Maina and King'ang'i arrested if they defy these guidelines," he added.
