Education is an important tool that many have used in the contemporary world to succeed.
Every child is entitled to proper learning. Uwezo surveys show that children attend schools but they do not learn much.
The survey shows that in 2014, 16% of North Eastern pupils were unable to read letters. This, according to the survey, is due to lack of enough teachers and learning materials.
The report also shows that pupils from less privileged households are likely to skip learning compared from those who are from well-to-do because they lack basic needs that necessitate them to go to school.
In their final examinations, pupils may get anxious and develop fear -- such that, the pupil may fail to sit for or even appear in the examination room and this denies him/her the certificate of primary education.
It may also lead to exam cheating, which results in exam cancellation.
