During an interview with Citizen TV, Nyoro opined that cabinet secretaries needed to be reshuffled for the purpose of improving service delivery.

The first time Kiharu legislator acknowledged some cabinet secretaries who had been performing well in their respective dockets.

However, Nyoro expressed concern over other cabinet secretaries who had been engaging in premature political campaigns contrary to their roles as stipulated in the constitution.

"We have CSs who are really performing and helping accomplish the Jubilee agenda but there are others who are sleeping on the job and more so campaigning," argued Nyoro.

Kimani Ichung'wah echoed Nyoro, adding that he had a 'problem' with 'executives' who had assigned themselves what he termed as 'double' responsibilities of doing politics and executing ministerial tasks at the same time.

"What I find a problem in this government and in the executive is the members of the executive who have doubled in politics," said Ichung'wah.

Leaders allied to deputy president William Ruto castigated three cabinet secretaries from Mt Kenya for playing politics by trying to assassinate him (William Ruto).
