The team which was compiled by President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM boss Raila Odinga after their truce in 2018 has been crisscrossing the nation in pursuit of answers to the nation's reccurent political and social problems, especially after polls.

BBI co-chair Adams Oloo on Monday called for patience saying that the team is still busy at work and will give out the much-awaited report once it is through.

"We are asking Kenyans to be patient and bear with us (as we) collect and collate Kenyans' views on how best they want to be governed and/or to fix our problems," Oloo said.

He noted that so far, the team of 14 has visited 42 counties, adding that their operations will not interfered with amid growing referendum calls.

He added that the remaining counties are Tana River, Trans Nzoia, West Pokot, Bungoma and Nairobi.

"Ideally, we would be remaining with only four counties to go. But our plane carrying task-force members to Tana River County couldn't land in the area last week," he added.

This comes amid calls for the team to hasten its operations, with forces allied to Raila urging Kenyans to shun the Thirdway Alliance party's Punguza Mizigo push and wait for the BBI report.

Raila has since predicted that the report will propose another referendum.
