Ministry of Interior and Co-ordination of National government has issued caution over an illegal acquaintance of working permits.

Through a statement on Tuesday, the ministry revealed that two culprits have already been nabbed in connection with the issuance of fake working permits to a number of firms. Suspects arrest happened after an operation conducted jointly with immigration officers. 

According to the Ministry of Interior, victims who might have fallen to trap of getting permits from suspicious sources should rush to their offices to confirm validity. 

They noted that the directive applies to all who didn't acquire their permits from Immigration offices. 

"The process of Issuance of work permits is elaborate and involves online interaction with the immigration department. Avoid short-cuts that are promoted by unauthorised elements as this can easily land you into problems. If you are caught holding fake or fraudulently work/resident permit, you will be prosecuted. " read part of the statement 

The statement further added that the state advice expatriates, investors and persons seeking residence to directly engage with the ministry through established procedures and systems. 

"The government is keen to ensure that the integrity of work permits is not compromised. People who attempt to engage in this unscrupulous practice should know that they will be apprehended and they will face the full force of the law," they warned

This comes barely a day after Precious Talent School building collapsed on learners causing instant deaths and left several others injured.
