Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi has hit at Nakuru Governor Lee Kinyanjui for planning to bar Tanga Tanga leaders from holding their Building Bridges Initiative rally at Afraha Stadium.

He says no one will deter them from holding the rally.

"I want to tell Governor Lee Kinyanjui whether he likes it or not we will hold out a rally as planned since we have the right as Kenyans to hold public rallies anywhere in the country," charged Sudi.

Sudi who spoke to the press in Eldoret town on Wednesday said he reads malice in his move to block them from holding the rally.The meeting is scheduled for February 8, 2020 at Afraha Stadium which is meant to popularise the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI).

“I want to tell Governor Lee, if you have been instructed to block Afraha Stadium, then we will hold the rally by the roadside and we expect the police to give us security while conducting our meeting,” he added.

However, Nakuru Governor Lee Kinyanjui dismissed the reports that there were plans to the team the grounds for them to hold their meeting.

"I only heard through the media that they will hold a rally at Afraha Stadium. They are welcome and as a county government we shall facilitate their being at the facility," said Kinyanjui.
