The group's North Rift Coordinator Titus Yego said the equipment were donated by the office of the Deputy President William Ruto.

"Today we are giving out 30 wheel chairs, 10 bicycles and 10 crutches which were distributed equally in the six sub counties," he said.

Yego warned parents who are hiding children with disabilities, saying it's against the law.

"It's sad that in this time and age parents are still hiding disabled children, denying them a chance to be helped," he said.

He said that any parent who will be found hiding such children will be arrested and charged with child negligence.

"I call upon parents of children living with disabilities to register at our Kapsoya offices for them to be assisted, either financially or given equipment such as crutches and wheel chairs, free of charge," he said.
