National Assembly leader Aden Duale has criticised reports from the opposition that Jubilee party is headed for a dead end, terming the allegations as unfounded utterances from failed political parties without national outlook.
In an article penned down on a local daily, Duale is quoted specifically referring to the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) as a 'suffering' party that only thrives on other people's alleged shortcomings.
He further noted that Jubilee party primaries will be free and fair, contrary to the utterances by the opposition.
“The Doomsayer party has predicted that Jubilee will break during the incoming nominations for the party’s 2017 tickets. I want to categorically state that it will never happen. The new Jubilee party is founded on a very firm foundation of tailor-made ideals that are underpinned by democraticprinciples," the ardent Jubilee MP disclosed.
Duale further criticized the opposition for sitting and faulting the government instead of crafting their manifesto that they hope to sell to citizens.
"It is preposterous that the opposition seems to be just sitting helplessly, praying and waiting for a miracle of Jubilee party falling apart. Why don’t they spend their time and party resources crafting a valid vision for the country?" he posed.
