The alumni claimed that the university had delayed issuing them necessary certificates to enable them to apply for jobs. They said the administration had failed to serve them in time.

"Three months after graduation, no certificates yet other universities take a week to release them," said Allan Mtange, an alumni.

"We have been taken for a ride but now we have run out of patience long ago," added Mtange.

The students went ahead to bring the matter over the social media, just to gain attention from the institution.

According to students who visited the office of Registrar Academic Affairs, they only found their transcripts but were told to wait longer for their certificates.

The office of Registrar responded by saying that they were working hard to ensure the certificates are issued as fast as possible.

Other students however said they were supposed to graduate in 2015 but were not issued transcripts in time, thereby forcing them to shift to 2016.
