Hon. Samuel Arama Nakuru Town West Mp on Tuesday insisted that he is ready to go into the ballot after ODM expelled him after he defected to Jubilee.
Arama argued that he will retain his seat even if he goes into the ballot on a Jubilee ticket.
"I know I will win. It's the electorate who voted for me, not ODM party leader Raila Odinga," said Arama.
He noted that ODM had locked him out during the 2013 nominations only that he got the ticket through the court.
"I am still popular among the voters. I will not be afraid of a by-election", he added.
He further stated that ODM party is trying to intimidate him and infringing his democratic rights.
