Kitutu Chache North Member of Parliament Jimmy Angwenyi has been urged to consider Riakerongo primary school proposal and improve school's infrastructure.
School head teacher John Mainye said they have poor infrastructure and there is a need for Angwenyi to consider their proposal.
Mainye said the school management has been writing proposals to area MP to improve school infrastructure so that enough classrooms and toilets are built but the proposals have never been considered.
“The school has poor classrooms and no standard toilets and we have been writing proposals to our area MP but never received any response,” John Mainye told the press at his school on Monday
“We are using the media to seek Angwenyi's attention for him to consider our proposal through the Constituency development fund (CDF) kitty and improve our school infrastructure," added Mainye.
Area residents accused their MP Angewnyi on how he uses his CDF kitty and said they have never benefited from the kitty
“Since 2013 we have not seen CDF fruits no roads, no bursary funds, no water, many schools have poor infrastructure and we are appealing to our MP to be transparent in his leadership and save us, “ said Benjamin Ong’era, a resident
Media effort to reach the MP to clarify allegations were futile.
