Nyamira County Governor John Nyagarama has said that the youths will benefit from the Sh100 million shillings which has been set aside for the youth employment
The county secretary Eric Onchana said that the county has budgeted the Sh100 million in the next financial year starting June for youths' employment
Speaking to the reporter at his office on Monday morning, the county secretary said the county has not neglected the youths as it is being said by some people.
“Let the people stop saying that we have neglected the youths, we have not. The budget which we have planned for is for benefiting at least 20 youths from every ward," said Onchana.
“The youths will take the responsibility of cleaning the markets, planting trees in public institutions among other duties which may be assigned to them," he added.
There have been strong accusations from the youth, whom have accused the governor and his administration of neglecting them.
