Former Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale says the greatest revolutionaries in the world was a medical doctor, adding that he's ready to lead the course.
While responding to claims that he should stick to his profession, Khalwale said that he's ready to liberate people from Odingaism.
For one year now, Khalwale has been a chief critic of opposition leader Raila Odinga, whom he supported in 2017.
Since then, Dr Khalwale has been supporting Deputy President William Ruto, who he says that he's fit to lead the country.
"Did u know that one of the greatest liberation heroes (Erenestito Che Quavara) of all time was a Doctor of Medicine? We will liberate all of u from Odingaism," he tweeted.
For the last four decades, Mr Odinga has been instrumental in Kenyan politics, spearheading various reforms.
On Saturday, Odinga said the country must go for a referendum this year, adding that changes are inevitable.
“We will continue consulting as the people of Kenya to ensure that we agree on which path we should follow,” said Mr Odinga.
Odinga reconciled with President Uhuru Kenyatta in 2018 and the two have pledged economic and political revolution in the country.
