Residents of Kiabore village in North Mugirango have today, Wednesday demonstrated over what they termed as poor state of a section of Kibore road.
Addressing the journalists at the site, one of the woman said that the area Member of Parliament (MP) Charles Geni has neglected them on grounds he didn't receive overwhelming support from the region.
"The M.P has sidelined us simply because we didn't fully support him in the last general election, we want him to work with all the people as he is the current leader," she said.
The residents claimed that they were unable to access health facilities and markets during this rain season.
The locals further claimed they were losing a lot and want the MP to come and save the situation.
The road is being maintained by the Kenya Rural Roads Authority (KeRRA).
Meanwhile our efforts to reach the MP were futile as our calls went unanswered.
