Mwala MP Vincent Musyoka has accused the Cord top brass in deceiving Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka and the Kamba community in the political arrangements for the 2017 polls.
Speaking on Sunday at St. Joseph Catholic Church Mutituni, the legislator who has joined a long list of disgruntled Kamba leaders who have decamped to the ruling Jubilee government implored the Kamba community to join and support Jubilee Party in the next general elections.
"We were duped and told that Kalonzo Musyoka will be made Presidential flag bearer. Now Raila Odinga has picked Hassan Joho and he is going round the country with him," Munyaka said.
"We have been deceived for long Mbaitu, let's join the government and grow our region. Let us support the sitting government because a divided opposition cannot defeat a united government," he added.
Also present during the Sunday mass was Deputy President William Ruto who also urged the Kamba community to rally support for the Jubilee government.
