The Kipsigis council of elders said Ruto has been undermining other elected leaders which is against the community’s wellbeing.

“The community is not going to benefit in any way if the leaders continue to engage in politics of insults, they need to look for an agreeable solution to their differences and work together as a team,” said William Ketieny, the group’s chairman.

Speaking on Wednesday, Ketieny said the differences will create divisions among the residents.
