More people have contacted law enforcement authorities in Britain to claim that they were victims of Reynhard Sinaga, an Indonesian PhD student reported to have committed 159 sexual offences.
36-year-old Sinaga who was convicted on Monday and jailed for 30 years is reported to have drugged and assaulted those men.
The Telegraph reports that the police confirmed that they had received complaints from scores of people.
A dedicated helpline has been set up by the authorities so that potential victims can lodge their complaints.
"For operational reasons we are unable to give out specific numbers of calls made to the incident room or information made online via the Major Incident Public Portal at this time, " the spokesman of the Greater Manchester Police said as quoted by the Telegraph. "However, we can confirm that some of these reports relate to potential further victims of Sinaga, " he added.
The world reacted with shock as Reynhard Sinaga, a man described as Britain's most prolific rapist, was given a life sentence as the shocking scope of his crimes trickled out to the public.
There had been restrictions on the case which were lifted by a court of law, paving the way for Reynhard Sinaga identity to be shared with the members of the public.
