This is after it emerged that a team of CORD lawyers drafted a document which will form the basis of the proposed negotiations between Jubilee and CORD over electoral reform.

Mbugua who was addressing a press conference on Saturday flanked by various leaders told Raila to forget about the position of Prime Minister as is not set out in the constitution.

“‘It has now emerged that CORD wants the seat of the Prime Minister to be revived. The constitution clearly outlines the structures of the government and there is no provision for such. If we give in to this demand, this will show that we have no faith in our constitution,” he said.

Mbugua said all Nakuru leaders are behind President Uhuru Kenyatta’s on the IEBC issue.

He said President Uhuru Kenyatta should not give in to Cord’s demands.

“It is clear that the opposition want to mislead the President. We as Nakuru leaders are urging the president not to give in,” Mbugua said

“Those leading the opposition are men who understand the constitution and it is not clear why they want to use the youth to break the law. They are a bad example to our youth because they have shown that they can break the law. As leaders, we urge the youth to distinguish between the good and the bad that is portrayed by our leaders,’ added governor Mbugua.
