Wiper Democratic Movement secretary general and Mombasa senator Hassan Omar has rubbished any possibilities of his party joining forces with the ruling Jubilee coalition.
Speaking on Sunday during an interview with Citizen TV, Omar stated that Wiper is not being dissolved like other parties which formed the recently launched Jubilee Party.
''We know that we don’t have any future in Jubilee and besides, just like every other party we are after making a government and not being dissolved into any other,'' Omar said
Wiper party, an ally of ODM and Ford-k in the Cord coalition has been very vocal opposing joint nominations as proposed by leader Raila Odinga.
During the interview, Omar further called on ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi to join the opposition with the aim of forming the government in 2017.
