Areas in Nakuru County will on Monday experience power outage over the ongoing countrywide meter inspection drive by Kenya Power.
The outage will start from 8.30 am until 4 pm.
According to information on the company's twitter account, the meter inspection drive targets over four million meter installations and aims to reduce system and commercial losses in order to enhance revenue collection..
This will greatly take stock of installed metering assets in a bid to boost service delivery.
Business establishments and households are mostly targeted in a bid to seal loopholes in pay evasion.
However, Nakuru County is expected to face power interruption in the selected areas of Sobea, Keringet, Kiptangitch Tea Factory, Dateafrican blooms, part of Rhosetto flowers, Shantara, Gicheha farm, Chemusian farm, Shantara flowers, Margaret farm, Kirobon, Mark Too, Wheatfield, Kapkores, St Andrews Turi, Keringet water, Mochorwe, Keringet centre, Kazan flowers, Kamwaura Sitoito and the adjacent customers.
