Baasi Chache ward tea farmers have demonstrated lamenting over poor condition of Nyakegogi-Motonto road.
They planted bananas on the road to compel the government to construct the road since the road is in a pathetic condition.
Speaking at Motonto during their demonstrations Jackson Mogunde said it is quite embarrassing when the government is not constructing the road and asked them to act by constructing the road.
“We always incur losses because our tea leaves stay at various buying centers without being collected every day because of the impassable road in this ward," said Mogunde.
"We ask our county government to construct us the road as one way of helping us," he added.
“We decided to demonstrate to be heard, we have been asking for the construction of this road but nothing has been done so far let the government help us please,” said Mogunde.
