Led by Jawambe Mirobi, the 'interim treasurer' the leaders claimed Tuju and Oloo favoured their political opponents during the exercise.

Speaking at Jawambe Hotel, Mirobi pointed out that 18 officials elected during last week's elections have already been replaced with new ones.

He argued that they have been sidelined despite being strong members of URP before the party leaders opted to merge.

Mirobi said Tuju is expected to unite the two groups instead of dividing them as they look forward to wooing Coast residents to vote for President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto in the next general poll.

“Tuju and Oloo don't want Jubilee to win in Mombasa. We are telling the Presidency that their effort of wooing Mombasa to their side is being undermined by these two men,” said Mirobi, as quoted by The Star.

However, Tuju, downplayed claims that the Jubilee elections were marred with chaos.

Jubilee leaders from the region have however said divisions are likely to cost the party in 2017.
