Governor Ongwae is reportedly fronting Ong’era for Women Representative seat, Omingo Magara as his Deputy and former Minister Sam Ong’eri as area Senator.

And in a heated debate at ODM Kisii Youth League Whatsapp group, a number of party supporters labeled Ong’era a Jubilee mole and threatened to ditch the alliance should she continue staying on their side.

“She is implementing Ruto’s plans by supporting secret Women and Youth groups without acknowledgment from the party. She is a mole within who should be avoided soonest,” said James Maganga.

“With all due respect, Ongwae should by now know who is a mole and who is not. Ong’era cannot be trusted in our party. She is wrecking the Alliance from within,” added Joyce Magiya.

However, some came to the defense of the Former ODM Chief Executive terming her as loyal and accusing her opponents of a witch hunt.

“It’s wrong to victimise someone who has worked hard for the party even than us. She is loyal and always works hard to see us making strides,” said Ken Machuka.

“If being a mole is traversing the county and selling ODM policies, then be it. I am fully behind her and she will prevail after all,” added Christine Boke.

Ong’era is expected to run against incumbent Mary Otara who has been linked with a move to Jubilee Party despite having been elected on ODM ticket.
