The government of Iran has said that it will not engage the United States of America in any negotiations regarding its (Iran) nuclear policies.
Speaking on Monday, Iran Foreign Affairs Ministry Spokesman Abbas Mousavi said that his county is not ready to favour the US as it plans to reduce its nuclear commitments.
Mousavi said that just like the county had on Sunday announced a reduction in its nuclear commitments, the US should not expect it to bark off in the plan or convince it.
He said that the only negotiations Iran will engage in will revolve around the initial JCPOA deal agreed on by member countries and the United States should not interfere.
He said that Iran will only engage in fulfilling deals revolving around the neuclear non prorification policy agreed on by the six member countries of JCPOA.
"There is not going to be any negotiations. If there is going to be any negotiations, it's regarding the JCPO implementation, the fulfilment of signatories of counties," he said.
He added that if uncomfortable with the new development, the Donald Trump-led nation can as well proceed and folk the vacuum to be left by Iran, which he said will be taken as a 'positive step' by the Iranian government.
The leaders held that there will be no 'red carpet' for America.
"We do not mean we are going to undertake anything, it means how they can convince Iran to remain in the deal and to return and undertake the commitments before scaling down.
As for America depends on Americans and their behaviours and approach, there is no red carpet for them. But if they can return to undertake their commitments it could be considered a positive step," he said in an interview with Press TV.
the JCPOA (the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action) is a deal reached between Iran and the US, France, Russia, United Kingdom and Russia on nuclear non-plofiration.
