Milne Wanjiku Kariuki yesterday told the press how her own son who is a pastor sold her land and demolished her house where she was evicted.

Her neighbours said the house was brought down by her son, Peter Kariuki after selling the property to unknown people.

The grandmother narrated how her prodigal son forged land documents to show he was the sole administrator of her estate.

Mrs Kariuki said that the fraudulent transfer of the land from her name to that of Kariuki was made possible after the area administrator, a Chief Muchedu colluded with her son to fake succession documents claiming that Kariuki's both parents were dead.

"The chief and my son fraudulently acquired my land by claiming I was dead. Now they will have to show how a dead woman could still be walking and working around," the granny said.

She added: "After demolishing my house, the policemen who were armed with rifles together with the youths herded me out of the compound before abandoning me on the roadside 100 meters away from my home."
