The deputy governor of Machakos County Bernard Kiala has sacked two county ministers from office for disrespect and disservice of public office.

Kiala has stated that the ministers have been barring other officers from tackling their duties including himself as the deputy governor.

Among the sucked is devolution minister Kioko Luka and minister of water Joshua Musili.

The senior officer in charge of livestock, agriculture and fisheries Nimrod Mbai has also been suspended after being accused of causing chaos in Machakos County assembly.

Kiala was addressing a press conference on Thursday outside his office stated the urgent and necessary step was to address pertinent issues concerning service to the public.

"Upto now there is no evidence of the accusations that governor Mutua suspended Francis Maliti and Larry Wambua based on," said Kiala.

The minister of devolution docket has been given to Larry Wambua while the water docket returned to Francis Maliti.

"The changes are aimed at ensuring that Machakos citizens are served diligently," he added.

The two ministers returned to work by the deputy governor were suspended by Dr Alfred Mutua in October 2015.
