Mount Kenya University will hold free cancer clinic in all its campuses on Tuesday next week.
"Guided by the university quality policy to support community service, the university will have a free career day in all the campuses on March 22, 2016 starting at 9:00 am," Prof Stanley Waudo, the university's Vice Chancellor said on Wednesday.
He said during the exercise, Form Four leavers, youths, parents and the general public will be given career advice to widen their career opportunities, scoop and to explore the wide range of academic and professional courses which are offered through various flexible modes of study.
He said for the main campus, the event will be held at the indoor games arena next to Chancellor's Tower.
He appealed to Thika residents to turn up in large numbers and take advantage of the event to undergo screening.
