Nominated Senator and ODM deputy secretary general Agnes Zani has assured Kenyans that her party will emerge stronger even after the departure of some top officials.
In an interview on Citizen TV on Sunday, Zani said ODM still has grassroot support and therefore anyone is free to make a choice.
"We know we have many supporters. It is true that there are able leaders but it is the people who vote not leaders," Zani said.
"In the past few days you have seen our party leader going round to explain to the electorate how the party is going on," she said.
In addition, she said the Coast region is in the ODM and Raila's popularity is stronger.
"You saw the recent by-elections in Malindi and what our party leader did compared with the other side (Jubilee)," Zani added.
In the recent past, ODM has been facing rebellion from parts of the Coast led by Kilifi North MP Gideon Mung'aro.
The same is now being experienced in Western Kenya led by former secretary General and national vice chairman Ababu Namwamba and Paul Otuoma respectively.
