A section of the residents took their campaign to social media platforms demanding the resignation of Education Chief Officer Fridah Nyaboga claiming that one of the teachers who was employed did not attend any interview.

The social media users claimed that at one of the primary schools, only one candidate was interviewed but wondered under what circumstances was the other tutor hired.

“We demand immediate investigations on the Chief Officer Ms. Nyaboga because we are aware how she has been compromising CPSB to recruit people of her choice,” claimed one angry social media user Jared Otundo.

“The CPSB should also take responsibility because the evidence at the primary school is in the public domain. This is pure violation of the law and someone should be held culpable. Employment should be given to deserving people,” added Nillah Moraa.

However, Nyaboga through a phone call, refuted the claims, and accused residents of witch-hunting her for ‘no good’ reason.

“I don’t think I interfere on matters recruitment. The CPSB is in charge of shortlisting and interviewing the candidates. I am being witch hunted for no good reason,” she said.

No member of the County Public Serve Board has yet reacted to the sensational claims of skewed employment in the John Nyagarama-led administration.
