The ODM party chairman John Mbadi has asked the expelled Mps to prepare for a tough by-election in February 2017.

The Suba Mp has advised the rebel Mps to stop chest thumbing that they will retain their seats since the electorates will disappoint them in the ballot. 

Mbadi said that the mini elections will be done 6 months before the general elections in 2017 . 

He said that the by-elections will be done in two counties, six constituencies and one ward. 

Mbadi's sentiments comes after the ODM executive director Oduor Ong’wen wrote to the Registrar of Political Parties on Tuesday asking for the removal of the 'rebels' names from the membership register who were expelled by ODM's disciplinary committee.
