He said Wetang'ula's presidential ambitions were far-fetched and out of reach for him in the opposition.

Speaking at Mayuba in Sirisia constituency on Saturday, Lusaka claimed Wetang'ula was trying to confuse Western residents with his presidential ambitions.

"There is no future for my brother Moses Wetang'ula in Cord. He should join Jubilee Party that is going to form the next government after 2017 elections. He should know that he has no future in Cord and he should take lessons with Musalia Mudavadi's ANC ambitions," said Lusaka.

Lusaka further called on Bungoma residents to avoid the opposition that had kept them in the cold for far too long.

He called on the voters to embrace Jubilee since it was going to form the next government and hence more development to the people of Western region.

Lusaka was among leaders who had accompanied Deputy President William Ruto in his Western tour.  The DP presided over a funds drive in the area.
