Nairobi Governor, Dr Evans Kidero has expressed confidence that he will retain his seat during the August 8 elections.
According to Kidero, a Cord member, disorganization in rivals Jubilee's camp will be the road to his victory.
Speaking at South C's seventh Adventist Church on Saturday, Kidero affirmed that the Nairobi Jubilee team will not emerge victorious.
“We are an organised house and they should put theirs in order first before gunning for my position. I am ready for anyone fronted by Jubilee,” said Kidero.
KIdero who was accompanied by Nairobi ODM chair George Aladwa further hailed President Uhuru Kenyatta for supporting the issuance of Identity Cards to facilitate voter registration.
The leaders called on Nairobi residents to register as voters in large numbers.
The city's top seat has attracted a large number of aspirants with Peter Keneth being the latest to join the race on a Jubilee ticket.
However, the ruling coalition is yet to pick a flagbearer for that seat.
