Machakos county Governor Dr Alfred Mutua has assured the people of the county that his administration's vision is to make Machakos County the premier investment hub in the region and that the county government remains committed to facilitating and not frustrating businesses.
Speaking via his official facebook page after a meeting with a team from Brava Food Industries Limited, the governor said that the company which is one of the many investments the Machakos Investment Promotions Board (MIPB) has brought to the county, is set to employ Arthi River residents once operations begin.
The company which is soon opening a plant at Athi River along Mombasa Road, majors in manufacturing carbonated and non-carbonated flavored soft drinks.
The governor further said that the company has already employed over 120 positional workers from the county and will employ more soon when it officially opens.
In attendance during the meeting was MIPB chairman Mr Ken Wathome , Mr Kim Musau (CEO, MIPB), Brava's Executive Director Mr Hussein H. Barkadie and Ms. Mariam Mohamed (Brand Manager, Brava).
