Nacada chairman John Mututho will continue to serve at the helm of the anti-drugs agency after the High Court halted his suspension as previously imposed by Interior Cabinet Secretary Joseph Nkaissery
In his ruling, Justice George Odunga said that Mututho had an arguable case and therefore directed the CS and the office of the Attorney General to get their response latest October 4.
This development comes after the Nacada chairman filed a case on Wednesday and argued that Nkaissery wanted to evict him from office to jeopardise the anti-corruption cases haunting his ministry.
The next hearing will be done on October 4.
