Kakamega senator Bonny Khalwale has revealed that the Cord coalition might introduce the position of Prime Minister if it wins the next general election.
According to the Ford Kenya Deputy leader, the move is aimed at accommodating the presidential aspirant who would come third in Cord's nominations.
Speaking on Wednesday, Khalwale also added that talks were in an advanced stage to lure the Amani National Congress leader Musalia Mudavadi to join Cord.
The announcement comes after Wiper Democratic Party proposed to register Cord as a political party to battle with Jubilee
The proposal has so far been supported by Cord leader Raila Odinga.
