The lobby group led by Senator Chris Obure has been accused of having self-interest ambitions.
Addressing residents on Sunday at St Andrew's Kaggwa Suneka Catholic Church in Bonchari during a fund drive, South Mugirango MP who is also eyeing Kisii county gubernatorial seat accused the group by saying that the leaders are up for self-interest not for the community.
Nyamweya said that the group has no agenda and they have failed the electorate in terms of development.
“The group is for self-interest and we know that they are popularising the Jubilee party since they have been visiting State Souse and given some handouts,” said Nyamweya.
Nyamweya further challenged residents to reject them during the 2017 polls since they have been fooling the community.
The lawmaker also challenged the unity caucus members to explain how their State House trips had benefitted the community.
"These leaders went to State House to receive handouts which they are using as bait to lure the Gusii community into supporting Jubilee. They only have a selfish agenda of dividing national and county government positions amongst themselves," noted Nyamweya.
The MP warned his opponents for the gubernatorial seat not to take his bid for granted.
“I urge those in the race to stop tarnishing my name since no one knows who will win in the next pools, but I have confidence that I will win due to the achievements in my constituency," said Nyemweya.
