Nominated MP and former TNA party chairperson Johnson Sakaja has admitted that folding up of parties to form Jubilee Party (JP) was a political risk.
Speaking on Wednesday in an interview with KTN, the legislator said the newly formed party risks losing some of their new members who will eventually fall out.
"In Jubilee, we have taken a political risk and I will call it that. It is a risk. We have brought together 14 parties and people who just joined are not sure of their positions," he said.
"But we are saying what is good for this country in the long run, is uniting our people in one political identity," he added.
Uhuru Kenyatta's TNA and William Ruto's URP are some of the key parties that merged to form the Jubilee Party, with Uhuru as its party leader and Ruto deputizing him in the party ranks.
